directions for sun tea:
1. loosely fill your cloth tea bag.
2. fill a clear glass container with water & add teabag.
3. steep for 3-5 hours in direct sunlight.
4. pull out teabag and store in fridge.
stays yummy all week. enjoy!

hints: throw in a sprig of fresh rosemary to Raven, fresh chamomile or mint to Chill Me Out and a squeeze of orange/lemon/lime to Flow. YUM!

Just Be.
we've all heard this for so long. but what does it really mean? just be? how can we 'just be' when there's so much to do. how can we 'just be' when our lives pull us in a million directions: work. school. kids. sports. the post office. the grocery store. bills. email. cell phones. twitter. facebook. the never ending list goes on. the things that keep us distracted. keep us too busy. so busy that our spirits start to starve. at our core, we crave simplicity. we crave peace. we crave quiet. at least a little. when we fail to offer that 'food for our soul', our whole world can feel out of whack. but when we slow down, even for a moment, to really look at the world around us, and take a deep breathe and let go of everything we 'should' be doing, we're feeding the part of us that is starving right now. starved by our ever distracted minds, our ever distracted lives. when we are distracted from our center, we don't always make decisions from our heart. when we are distracted from who we are, we loose track of what really matters, what's really important.

so, this month, my teas of choice reflect the 'just be' attitude we all need to embrace a little more. all 3 teas address our mental life. Raven: for clarity. Chill Me Out: for the nervous system that burns out from mental stress. Flow: for mental flexibility.
